I have been loving the pictures. Thank you.
Wouldn’t Doug have had a ball there, with everybody? I can hear him laughing, just thinking about it.
And, it was a shame Tim Matheson wasn’t there. Maybe not interested. But, as I’ve seen his episodes on Encore this winter I had forgotten how totally adorable he was. He had some really great ‘it’s majorly me’ episodes. My special favorite one was the first one he was in, when he and Leslie Nielson signed on to the ranch. Great scenes and affection between the two of them.

Yes Doug would have been a natural for the various film fairs and conventions Kate. Tim Matheson does attend conventions but usually to promote his current work on shows such as “Burn Notice.”
Even rat that he is on BURN NOTICE, and the slime he was on WEST WING, I love seeing him. I watch him on anything I can.
I know he does a lot of directing. I’ve seen his name quite a bit on TV program credits.
I was interested to see William Smith. After this he never played a ‘good guy’ very much at all. I always wanted to see him ‘just talk’. I thought he had to be a really nice guy to get all the work he had, and play such horrible people. Guess it started with RICH MAN, POOR MAN. Glad to see he is still around.
Is there a way to know of any of these ‘Western’ cons? I know before the show would come on at 4:30 EST, on Encore, they would show clips from what is apparently a very big convention.
I’d love to get to see Virginian cast members if it was possible.
Thanks for all you do, Paul.

Love all of them. I was a child loving western because of John Wayne pictures. The Virginian was my favorite television program in the sixties. And now in Puerto Rico we have again the program in encore western . I’m 61, but i still remember how I enjoy it. Thanks.
Glad you can receive Encore in Puerto Rico Jose.
I love this picture of so many of my western
heroes. Some I barely recognized from the shows I loved as a young girl, except for Mr. Drury, I will always recognize him. In fact, I just knew he would ask me to marry him when I was 10. One can always keep hoping.
God Bless each of you. You will always stay
alive in our hearts.
Love to all,
Cindi
