For those interested here are the opening titles of the German Die Leute Von Der Shiloh Ranch. As you can see it’s a different approach than the original Universal-Revue title sequence.

Yes, and during the 9 years the intro never changed instead in the original tv-show.
Yes I notice the titles only included the Virginian and Trampas and showed them together in an equal manner. And as these were the only two characters to survive the entire nine-seasons it makes sense to include them both.
I don’t really care for these opening titles Nic. It doesn’t use the theme tune or the visuals to the best effect. Amazing that these titles remained unchanged in Germany for the entire run of the series. Part of the thrill was seeing new cast members in the title sequence for each season.

Very interesting to see this, it only seems to use the last part of the theme music and no actor’s names.
